Died peacefully in Sydney, Australia, on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Loved son of the late Jack and Ina Barnes. Loved husband and companion to Hanny (Sydney). Loved brother to Marriane O'Rourke (Timaru), Paula Robinson (Christchurch) and brother to John (Christchurch).

Sad to hear of Barney passing away.Played soccer with him at Thistle Soccer Club for a few years with the Morris Brothers way back , a great guy and were very good mates back then ,midtown late 70s and early 80s, rest in peace Barney
