Dear Pat and Family,
A thought of comfort and condolences to the grieving family.

To Pat and Family Deepest sympathy on your sad loss but wonderful memories to recall of our interaction with Gerald especially through St Vincent de Paul.

Proud to have known Gerald - thanks to growing up with Mick.
Early memories of him astutely observing on the sideline of the soccer pitch as Mick toiled diligently and grunted and snorted his way through another game.
An instant bond with Gerald, as he had an interest in the odd bet on a racehorse. I know plenty of slow racehorses - so was happy to share the pain and just occasionally we enjoyed the banter of picking the odd winner.
Fond memories of his meticulous vegetable garden - which he spoke fondly of, but we all knew it was from a dedicated focus and great attention to detail.
Definitely some real excitement in his voice when we spoke about his efforts on the bowling green. From rookie to a seasoned pro - again take luck out of the equation. No doubt he was well read on the strategic approach, nothing flashy, play the percentages and in no time he's your first team pick in the fours.
Thinking of you Pat, Mick and Tom at this sad time but we're all the better for having Gerald in our lives.
