Hi Julia, we're so sorry to have missed the funeral, but wanted to let you know how fond we were of George. We have many happy memories, whether on the piste or at work. The enduring joke at Ohakune was about "going up the Junction" where all the action was (allegedly). Of course we ran a mile when really pushed!
All our love,
Kevin and Meredith

Hello Julia - your sad event was brought to my attention via our old classmates In Auckland and then via Anne Ahearn in Napier when seems to keep in touch with everyone!
I have recently made contact with a few missing people in our class - Gill Stratton and Alli Edgecombe. Going on a Caribbean cruise in a few weeks and plan to make contact with Gill, then found Alli lives only a few kms from here in Papamoa! Had a lovely afternoon with her recently.
Now I'm planning a class reunion here early next year. Will keep in Touch,
Please contact me via email - [email protected]
My sincere sympathy and love, Helen
