A thorough gentleman full of fun and laughter when we worked together in the Telephone exchange, always helpful. Loved the way you used to iron your own shirts, wore the sleeves folded just the right way .. do a great job dont I he would say. Nice to have known you. You're now with your soulmate, Linda, and son. RIP

Very sad to read you have left us Gav. Lots of fabulous memories of telephone exchange days work dos and parties till the early hours or in your case straight to work in your suit once at least. Our friendship lasted a long time... even if we did not see each other for a while when we did we carried on where we left off. Your laughter, hospitality and presence will be be deeply missed. Thoughts and love to all your family and Heather. Friends forever

Gavin was always fun to work with at the Telephone Exchange. He always had a smile and a laugh, with his fun cheeky comments when seeing him on the other side of the bar. RIP

I have just lost a lifetime Friend from the age of 5 yrs old when we started school together at Kaikohe Primary school. He has been sincere and jovial friend throughout these years. As we have lived our lives many miles apart and did not physically see a great deal of each other over the years, we had many chats over the phone which I will miss immensely.
