Gary Rex (Hairy):
Peacefully at The Croft Rest Home on Friday, December 10, 2021; aged 75 years. Son of the late Gloria and Duncan Stewart (Nelson). Loved husband of Ailsa, father and father-in-law of Mark and Sarah, and Grampy to Annabelle. A service to celebrate the life of Gary will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers Society South Canterbury would be appreciated and may be left at the service. The family have chosen unlimited attendees, therefore Vaccination Passes will be required. A livestream of the service is available, please email your interest to [email protected]. I was so sad to read of Gary's Passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Alisa at this time. So many memories came back to me of the times we all spent together in our younger years.... I used to see Gary at N.W. Supermarket and he still gave me a huge smile and updated me on how you were and of others I had lost contact with. He was a great guy.....
