Frederick Gerard (Gerry):
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 14. Penny's dearly loved husband for 68 years, father and father-in-law of Herstall and Aly, Sally and Pete, Robyn and Dave, Jan and Dave, and special Poppa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private cremation has been held according to Gerry's wishes. The family invites you to join them at a gathering on Saturday, July 31 at 2.00pm, to celebrate Gerry's 94 years by raising a toast and sharing memories at Betts reception lounge, 33 North St, Timaru. Messages may be sent care of the Ulrich family to PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.

Sending my sympathy to you all. I enjoyed working for you Penny many years ago and at that time there were two children. I think it would have been about the early sixties.Your husband lived to a great age and I remember him as a perfect gentleman. I was Jim Casey's daughter and lived up over the Cave hill.
