Peacefully at Timaru Hospital of Friday, June 2, 2023, with family by his side; in his 93rd year. Dearly loved partner and soul mate of Pat Town. Loved father and father-in-law of Sally and Brian Holmes, Glenn, and Mark and Sally. Loved step father of Gillian and Michael Linton, and Barbara Bee. Treasured granddad to his grandchildren. A service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. A livestream of the service is available, please email- [email protected] or call 6862148. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Hello and may I say how sorry I am, Pat to hear of Peter's passing. Frankly I never give a thought to people down there, excepting when I spot things in the paper. I was on the school bus with Sally, Glen and Mark. I was a Christey and I now live in Whangaruru in the Bay Of Islands. No Norwest here. Great fishing a wet climate but NO FROST although I do miss it from time to time. Please pass on my regards to the rest of the family. I did talk to Mrs. Bruce a couple of years ago, and funny enough my next door neighbour knew Flo and Rodger Carter of Mount Gay as he drove tour buses down there. Small world! I wish you well.
