Frances GRIFFIN Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Elloughton Gardens, Timaru, on Thursday, July 17, 2025; aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George. Treasured and loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael (dec), Bernie and John Rose, Liz and David Benson, Colleen and Ray Woodill, Rosie and John Davison, Paula Griffin and Phil Rackley, Anthony and Natasha, and Peter Griffin and Rebecca Molloy.
Loved grandmother and great-grandmother to her 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Loved Aunty Frances to many.
A Requiem Mass for Frances will be held at The Sacred Heart Basilica, 7 Craigie Ave, Timaru on Tuesday, July, 22, 2025 at 11.00am, followed by an interment at The Timaru Public Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at the Church on Monday, July 21, at 5.30pm. A delayed stream of the service will be available, please email [email protected] or call 6862148. Dear cousins, so sorry for your profound loss.
I liked Frances' sense of humor which you are blessed to have inherited. I know Helen enjoyed having her down on the farm with all us kids running around getting into all sorts of mostly good mischief.
May she rest in peace reunited with George and Michael and that thought comfort you all.
