Evan NIVEN Obituary

NIVEN, Evan John:
Ex CIB (Canterbury), and Airport Security Warden (Christchurch). Passed away peacefully at Lister Home, Waimate, on June 4, 2021; aged 85 years. Eldest son of the late Elsie (Bewley) and Eric Niven. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Graeme and Robyn Niven. Loved husband of Elizabeth, and stepfather of Andrew. Father and father-in-law of Christopher and Beverley (Qld), Phillipa (Nth Canterbury), Stephanie and Peter Niven (Nelson), Rebecca Friend (Marlborough), Natasha Niven and Aaron Wiggins (WA). Grandfather of 12, and great-grandfather of 4. At Evan's request, a cremation has taken place. Donations to: South Canterbury Timaru Alzheimer's NZ or Lister Home, Waimate, would be appreciated.
