Emmeline GARLAND Obituary

Peacefully at Timaru Hospital on Friday, July 5, 2024; in her 94th year. Cherished wife of the late Alan (formerly of Waitaki and Hakataramea Valley, Kurow). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Donald (Don) and Linda. Grandmother of Megan, Joanna (Jo) and Shane Nicoll (Perth), and the late Craig, and Matthew. Cherished great-great-grandmother of Rily, and Piper Murray, Leo and Navah Nicoll (Perth). Eldest daughter of the late Ruth and Robert Reynolds (Willowbridge) and daughter-in-law of the late Gladys and Southan (Clarkesfield Station). Loved eldest sister of Marion Cuttriss, Audrey, and Les (dec) Murray. Loved and respected sister-in-law and aunty to her extended Reynolds and Garland families. Special thanks to both St John Ambulance and doctors and nursing staff of Timaru Hospital for taking wonderful care of Emmy over the last two weeks and prior. A Service to celebrate Emmy's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 11 John Street, Waimate on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 1.00pm followed by interment in the Waimate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance, Waimate would be much appreciated and can be left at the service.
