Elizabeth RYAN Obituary
(nee O'Sullivan):
Following an incurable diagnosis in April 2022 and then subsequent complications, Liz passed away courageously and peacefully at the South Canterbury Hospice, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Aged 66 years. Dearly loved wife of Peter, treasured mum of Kate, Emmett and Patrick, respected and loved mother-in-law of Mark, Sarah and Cindy, and adored grandma of Catlin, Briar, Billy, Keira and Conor. Liz was also the precious youngest child of the late Jack and Joan O'Sullivan, and much loved sister to Jillian, Catherine, Shirley and John, as well as a loved aunty, friend and registered nurse to many. A service to celebrate the life of Liz, and all she brought to this world, will be held at 1.30pm on Monday, June 13 at St Thomas' Church, 12 Mountain View Road, Timaru. Afternoon tea and then a private cremation to follow. A rosary will be recited for Liz at St Thomas' at 5.00pm on Sunday, June 12. A special thanks to all those who cared for Liz over the last two and a half months, and especially the wonderful team at South Canterbury Hospice. The family have very much appreciated it. I was so sad to hear of Liz's passing. She was such a lovely kind person. My daughter Michelle was good friends with Kate and Michelle would also like to pass onto Kate that she has fond memories of the time she spent with her Family.

Sorry to hear of Liz´s passing, I enjoyed working with her at Margeret Wilson, she was a great nurse. RIP Liz.

So sorry to hear of Eliz's passing, we shared going through nurse training together and even flatted together and had so much fun during those days. Love to all her family at this sad time, memories will bring peace to you all I'm sure.
