McDONALD, Elizabeth Anne
(Betty) (nee Gray):
At Timaru Hospital on August 30, 2021, aged 88. Loved wife of Alan, and the late John MacGregor. Loved sister of Dorothy and the late Alan McKenzie, Lindsay and Mary Gray (both dec), loved sister-in-law of Nellie and Rex Rowe (both dec). Loved mother of Ewan and Helen MacGregor (Australia), and Dianne MacGregor (Banora Point, Australia), and Grandmother of Christopher and Holly Sorenson. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Loved stepmother of David and Jazz McDonald, Mark and Gaylene McDonald, loved Grandmother of Shane, Jason, Vanessa and Angela, and Great-grandmother of Maia, Cassiopee, Lilliana, Keenan, Natahlia and Felix. A private cremation has been held, a memorial service for Betty will be held at a later date TBA. Messages to 1/4 Poplar Street, Timaru 7910.

Dear Ewan and Dianne , sorry to hear of your loss . I always think of your mums amazing biscuits and my city stay in Timaru with the McGregor family . John singing “ you are my sunshine “ loudly . I am thinking of you at this sad time . Kind regards , heather stewardson

Sorry Ewan and Dianne to hear about you mum. We lost mum on 31 March. I always think of your mum and dad when I go over the Glenavy bridge. Our parents use to call it the half way mark when we use to meet as kids. Take care. Sending big hug.
