Eileen WILD Obituary

Aged 89, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 20, 2025 at Lady Wigram Retirement Village, Christchurch. Cherished wife of Harold Wild (dec) and beloved partner of Alastair McMillan (dec). Joy was much loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law John and Julie Currey, and Colin and Maria Currey, as well as her grandchildren Mitchell, Anna and Ben. Wonderful life memories were made with her brothers and sisters-in-law Jim (dec) and Margaret, John and Sylvia (dec), Robert and Yvonne, and Joy's nieces and nephews. True to her name, Joy brought laughter and light to all who knew her including her many friends that she made throughout the years. A special thanks to the staff at Lady Wigram for their loving care of Joy. A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family on Thursday, June 5 at 1.30pm at Melton Estate Winery, Weedons Ross Road, West Melton.
