Edward George (Ted):
Reg.446528, LCPL, 23rd Btn, WW2. Peacefully with family by his side at Highfield Rest Home, Timaru, on Friday, December 17, 2021, in his 100th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Maureen for 71 years. Loved and respected dad and father-in-law of Trevor and Judy (Australia), Diane and Kevin Hewitt, Noel and Wendy, and Ross and Trish. Adored grandad "Ted" to all his 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The Service celebrating Ted's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2.00pm, followed by a private burial at Timaru Public Cemetery. The family have chosen unlimited attendees, therefore Vaccination Passes will be required. A livestream of the service is available, please email your interest to [email protected].
