On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at his home, aged 85 years. Dearly loved and respected husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. Loved son and brother and cherished by all the extended family. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Duncan Walker, c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A private family service has been held.

Yesterday

I was lucky to work with Duncan for many years in various Law firms in Waimate. Among his many attributes was his thoroughness, a thoroughness that allowed all of his clients to know that every possibility had been considered. And I, along with all our co-workers never ceased to be amazed at the "west-coaster' regaling us with stories about life and people on the Coast. Von, Helen, and Duncan (the younger) I feel privileged to have known him.
