It was my absolute pleasure to be a member of the Bunnings team that worked with Doug. He was always such a gentleman and so knowledgeable in his work environment. Doug will leave a huge hole at Bunnings and I for one will certainly miss his friendly face when I visit Timaru. As a family you can feel very proud to have had such a wonderful man in your
lives. May he rest in peace and long will he be remembered for who he was. Hope the fishing is worth it up there Doug.

I´m so so sorry for your loss, I worked very closely with Dougie, and am devastated by his passing, he was so proud of his family often pulling out the latest photos of his grand babies, and spoke so proudly of his children, as for Michele he spoke of you a lot too, and was so proud to have bought you a carport just recently, as for "My girls" his words Carrie & Miele, he spoke very lovingly of ... Doug and I bonded and became close over the last few months, he had the best advice, and a shoulder to cry on when I needed it , the sweetest, gentlemanly man ever ... Rest in love dear Dougie Toot toot your friend Maria X
