Douglas Henry (Henry):
Passed away unexpectedly at Highfield Lifecare, Timaru, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022; aged 94. Dearly loved husband of the late June. Dearly loved dad and father-in-law of Judy and John Reid, Barry and Ange, and Graham and Diane. Treasured grandad of Jarrad and Jemma, Kyle, Paul and Sara, Penny and Caitlin, Julia and Caleb, and cherished great-grandad of Indie, Lilly, Judson; Taya, Max; Scarlett, Mackenzie, Roxie; Matilda. Special friend of Bill Schuster. Special thanks to Dr Griffiths and the team and Highfield Lifecare for their loving care of Henry. My uncle, John Taylor, and my godfather, Morrie Goddard, played with Douglas in the famous Ranfurly Shield team in 1950. It was wonderful reading about all of the rugby feats in your family. I send all my love and sympathy as you say goodbye. Much love xxxx
