Condolences to all Doug's family. He spent many hours at the gym with pete while they both put the world to rights. A true old school gentleman......remembered with a smile.

I first met Doug on the golf course at St Andrew's. A great guy with plenty of stories to tell and an opinion on everything. Always battling. Called in to see him 3 weeks ago and he was his usual chipper self. A shock to read this this morning. My condolences to all the family.

Very sad to read this news of Doug's death.
It was only 2-3 weeks ago he called into The Garden Centre Timaru.
I also new Doug from The Secret Garden, Garden Centre where he first promoted seedlings from his brother of the Cleveland Red Rata. These will live on in his memory of a real green fingered gentleman.

Condolences to all Dougs family. Doug was a true and sincere gentleman, always a smile and always busy. I will miss not visiting him. Thinking of you all.
