Passed away peacefully at Hospice South Canterbury, Timaru, surrounded by his family, aged 92 years. Loved husband of the late Dorothy. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Sue; Mark and Pam; Bronwyn and Liz; and Dean and Annie. Cherished Granddad to Kirsty and Matt; Heidi and Ben; Daniel; Troy and Mya. Great-Granddad to Taylor, Lockie, Tommy, Lexi and Tilly. Special friend of Yvonne Roebuck. In keeping with Doug's wishes, a private cremation has been held.
