FURNESS,
Dorothy Mavis
(née Conaghan):
On October 14, 2017, peacefully surrounded by family at Waihi Lodge Care Centre, Geraldine, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Alex, and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Maree, Suzanne and David, Geoffrey, Jane and Raphael, Cecily, the late Paul, and Fiona. Dearly loved Nana of Nadia, Kristiana, Makayla, Jessica, Luke, Samuel and Isaac. A special thanks to all the staff at Waihi Lodge who looked after our Mum so wonderfully right to the end. The Rosary will be recited for Dorothy at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Peel Street, Geraldine, on Tuesday, October 17, at 7.00pm. A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, October 18, at 11.00am, to celebrate Dorothy's life followed by interment at Geraldine Cemetery.
