Donald MCPHERSON Obituary
Donald John:
Died on December 3, 2017, aged 50, as a result of an accident. Much loved father of Nina, loved and respected son of Margaret and Malcolm, dearest brother of Kate, and Alie, and uncle of Henry, and Sylvia. A service for Donald will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 2.30pm, in the Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountainview Road, Timaru, thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to C.C.S. Disability Action would be much appreciated and can be left at the service. Messages to 16 Chaucer Street, Timaru 7910.

Sad to hear of Donald's death. I have very fond memories of Donald as a close friend through school. His friendship helped me survive the rather conservative school culture of the time. My time with him and his family, Malcom, Margaret, Katie and Alie were later influential in choices I made in my life. I lost contact with Donald after Secondary school (I remember only seeing him once after those years in a flat in Dunedin). My condolences to his family. Love

I just heard the sad and shocking news of Donald's passing. I only knew Donald through emails and his music which I had the honour of releasing an LP with Tetuzi Akiyama back in 2007. I singular talent that will be missed. I am so sad to have never met Donald, but am glad that he touched my life through his music. My deepest condolences to all his family. With love Mark
