O'ROURKE,
Desmond Thomas (Des): Peacefully at Talbot Park, on June 1, 2013, aged 87 years; loved husband of Helen for 65 years, loved father and father-in-law of Sandra, Dale and Alison, Paul and Marianne, loved grandfather of Daniel, and the late Simon; Matt, and Tess; Aimee, and Jeremy, and of his great-grandchildren Ashton, and Addison. A service to celebrate Des's life will be held at the Bank Street Chapel, Timaru, tomorrow (Wednesday, June 5), at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.
"These are my rivers,
why should I roam?
These are my mountains, I'm going home"
