Desmond DOYLE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Elloughton Gardens, Timaru, on Friday, February 13, 2026, surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of the late Nola, and the late Glenda. Much loved father and father-in-law of Annie and Malcolm Munro, Karin and Simon Cockroft, Tim Mills, Steve and Natalie Doyle. A very special grandad of Emma, Conor, and Sam Munro, Kate, Laura, Olivia, and Ben Cockroft, Tama, and Te Ata Mills-McMahon, and Alex Doyle, and his great-grandchildren Riley, Molly, Jacob, Charlie, Edie, and Lucie. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Anne, and loved by all his extended family and friends. Everyone who knew Murray is welcome to join with us to celebrate the wonderful life he led.The Service will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Thursday, February 19 at 1.00pm. The family would like to thank the staff at Timaru Hospital and Elloughton Gardens for all their care of Murray over the last few months. Murray will be dearly missed by us all.
