On August 24, 2024, passed away at Rosebank Lifecare Ashburton with his family by his side, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret for 61 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Jennifer, Douglas and Rosemary, the late Brian, and the late Pamela. Loved son of the late Dorothy. Loved brother of Ann and the late Stewart Harvey, Frances and Don Houston, Elaine and Bill Ryan. Loved son-in-law of the late Jim and May Reesby. Loved brother-in-law of the late Peter, and Jane Reesby, Barbara and Tuby Brown, Diann and the late Ian Winter, Trish and Allan Rawson. A very much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews and a good friend to all that knew him. Messages to the family of David Paterson, c/- 57 Peter St, Ashburton 7700. A celebration of David's life will be held at 57 Peter St, Ashburton, on Saturday, September 7, commencing at 1.30pm. As per David's wishes a private cremation has taken place.
