David GARDINER Obituary

1.1.1943 – 28.9.2025

(Formerly of Ranfurly and Waimate, and recently Oamaru.) Unexpectedly after a short illness at Dunedin Hospital, aged 82 years, in the presence of loving family. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of the late Yvonne. Much loved and respected father and father-in-law to Leigh and Tim Petrie (Weston) Scott and Joedy (Christchurch), Justin and Nana Yaa Essilfua Cudjoe (Ghana); dearly loved Grandad of Rhys, Emma, Alice, Samuel, Max, Claudia, Allana, Emily and Cameron and great-grandad of Everleigh. Loved brother-in-law to Trevor and Sandra, Robert (dec), Allan and Karen, Sonia and Ray (dec), Karen and John (dec) and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. Loved son of David (dec) and Katie (dec), and brother of Ann (dec) and Henry (dec) (Harry). A service for David will be held at Whitestone Funerals Chapel, 54 Weston Rd, Oamaru, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 1.30pm.
