Amazing lady, so sweet right up to the end. My best memory was of her at our house in Blenheim ? on her 50th birthday, relearning to ride a bike so she could get down town to do some shopping. With no bus service and my Mum not driving it was her only way bar walking to get there. In spite of not having been on a bike for many years, she gave it a go with a few false starts around our back yard, then down the road with a load of kids running beside her before she gave a cheery wave and pedalled off to town.
