Colleen McCARTNEY Obituary
Passed away after a short illness on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the age of 55, surrounded by her family. Dearly beloved wife of Daryl. Cherished daughter of Les and Trish Batchelor (Timaru). Treasured sister and sister in law of Peter and Amy Batchelor (Timaru) and Gaynor and Robert Lee (Oamaru). Loved auntie of Jason and Hyrum. Will be sadly missed by her Mum and Dad number 2, Wendy and Bruce. Loved by her many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A graveside service will be followed by Interment at Rangiora Park Lawn Cemetery, at 310 Coldstream Road, at 11.00am on Saturday, August 16. A Mass for Colleen will be held at St Thomas' Catholic Church in Timaru on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 9.00am. Messages to PO Box 213, Timaru 7940.

Sorry for your loss Trish and Les,
My memory of Colleen is her smile and greeting when we were in Kaiapoi.
I last saw her at Maureens funeral and she was so happy with married life.
Life isn't fair to end like this.
