Colin FOLEY Obituary
Colin passed away peacefully at Strathallan Life Care on October 9, 2021, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Anne Wooffindin for over 50 years. Loved son of the late Margaret and Charlie Foley, and loved brother and brother-in-law of Denise and Gordon Taiaroa (both dec), Maureen and Bryan Fitzgerald (Blenheim), John and Elaine (Queensland), Anthony and Janice (Timaru), Barry (Timaru), Helen and Terry (dec) Voice (Timaru), Kareen and Greg Howard (Timaru), Marilyn Farrell (Sydney), Kevin and Mei (Lower Hutt). A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews, their partners and children. A special and grateful thanks to Dr. John Fanning and the staff at Strathallan Life Care for their dedicated care and support to Colin and also to Anne. A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at the Timaru Cemetery. Dear Anne, Ivan and I are sorry to hear the news about Colin. You must be feeling sad and lost at this time. We have happy memories of working with you both in The Quadrangle, back in the seventies, and fun times playing squash at the De La Bere.
