Colin George (Cash):
Cpl No. 926681 Malaya – On August 15, 2016, peacefully with his family at his side, at Allen Bryant Lifecare, Hokitika, aged 79 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Henry and Kerry (Hokitika), Tui and Chris Gudsell (Timaru) and Stephen and Janet (Hokitika). Much loved grandad of Simon and Nicole; Hannah, Bridget and James; Ryan and Ema. Loved brother of Daphne, Doreen and Bill and the late Henry and Grace, brother-in-law of Audrey and Olive and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Messages to 356 Arthurstown Road, RD3, Hokitika 7883. Flowers respectfully declined but donations to the West Coast Branch of the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A service to celebrate Cash's life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, corner of Stafford Street and Bealey Streets, Hokitika, on Friday, August 19, commencing at 1.30pm. Following the service Cash will be laid to rest in the Returned Services Section, No. 2 at the Hokitika Cemetery.

So sorry to read of Colin's passing. He was a true gentleman.
Seems like only yesterday that I went in my 1st Kaniere Trathlon with Colin (he was the kayaker). That was 30 years ago.....
