Reg. 240531, WWII, 23rd Btn. Peacefully at Strathallan Life Care on Friday March 18, 2016, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Uta. Loved Father and Father-in-law of Barbara and Eric Kerr and the late Lorraine. Loved Grandad of Jamie and Jennie and Ingrid and James. Loved Grand Charlie of Isabel and baby Charlie and Charlotte. Respected Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Medical Ward at Timaru Hospital and the staff at Strathallan Life Care for their care of Charlie over the past 2 months. A service Celebrating Charlie's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at 2pm, followed by burial at the Timaru Cemetery.
