No visit to Fairlie and latterly Timaru was complete without a visit to Jean. Always a wonderful welcome and great conversation. Jean was a link to my mother Mavis, Ian's first cousin and Jean's friend. They worked together in the office of Jones' Motors, Fairlie, over 70 years ago. Rest in Peace, dear Jean. My sincere condolences to the Jones family.
