Catherine HENSHAW Obituary
Catherine Mary (Kit):
Of Timaru. Passed peacefully with her family by her side at Summerset on Cavendish, Christchurch, on July 30, 2022 aged 93. Beloved wife of the late Allen, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Catherine, the late Terry, Mark and Linda, the late Miranda Schrader and Lindsay Schrader, and friend of Amanda. A special and loving Nan to Sarah and Chris, Fiona and Greg, Tim and Nicki, Phil and Jemma, Jenny and Sam, Nicola and Dan, Kate, Clare, Tom and Zoe. Also a doting Great-grandmother of her 15 great-grandchildren. A special sister to Anne Bowie (Auckland), and sister and sister-in-law to the late Keith and Jan Bowie (Otaio). A funeral service for Kit will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church College Rd, Timaru, on Wednesday, August 3 at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance South Canterbury may be made at the service. Livestreaming details contact Betts Funeral Services. Dearest Kit,
I got to know you through wee Polly when she came to me at Timaru's Family Vets for her care.
I will treasure the short time I spent with you up at Elloughton dropping Polly home, picking her up, delivering food or medications for her. Your sense of humour was truely one of a kind.
I truely hope you are up there smiling down on us, having a great time with wee Polly.
