Bruce HEWSON Obituary

Dear Sharon & family.
Sorry to here of Bruce's passing, Lynn did say he had recently retired from driving and was doing DYI activities at home.
I only new Bruce, Really, because of rugby and Temuka Transport & working in the transport industry.
Not knowing his family life that well, I will remember him as one of the Best Operators with a Truck & Trailer in the South Island, He was one of a thousand, that, if you said, please place the trailer into this space, he could do it first time, no questions asked, I think he was bit of a legend in the driving arena, winning many top awards at local and inter island gatherings.
I do know for a fact he was driving one of the most modern units on New Zealand's roads for stock transfer before he retired.
Those are my fond memories of Bruce and his exceptional service record for Rowdy & Margaret, He really did live for the freedom in life that driving gives one, I know, because I have gone Back to driving Tippers myself, once out there you are your own Boss.
I am now 67 myself and love the change I have Made.
Love to you all and heads up, life goes on.

We were so very sorry to read of the sad passing of Bruce and will treasure the memories of both the trucking and rugby days, both on and off the pitch. Just one of life´s real top guys. Both Judi and myself have all family and extended family in our thoughts at this time.

My condolences to Sharon & Family on the sad passing of a great man, Bruce. I have lots of wonderful memories of Bruce when playing rugby for Temuka Senior Team together, & of course Bruce driving a stock truck for Temuka Transport. RIP Bruce.

so sorry to here of bruces passing we were at temuka school together in the same class last time i spoke to bruce my wife and i were doing a karioke show at the temuka hotel we had a beer together and caught up with old times condolences to the famerly
