Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2017, aged 77 years. Beloved husband for 50 years of Louise, loved father of Mark and Pamela Avery, Beth and Peter Mehrtens, Kate and Jason Maoate. Treasured grandad of Ben, and Hana Mehrtens, Elijah, and Teina Maoate and great-grandad of Addison-Rose Mehrtens. Funeral to be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 11 John Street, Waimate on Thursday, October 19, at 1.00pm. Flowers or donations to St John Ambulance may be left at the service.
