Tina was my first friend when my family moved to Waimate. I was 11, she 10. She lived just 3 houses away from us on Augustine Street. I remember getting to know Waimate streets courtesy of Tina and our pushbikes. Memories of Girl Guides, fish n chips from the piecart on the way home, we werent allowed to go in so we ordered from the cook through an opening at the front. We marched together in Victoria Guards, her father was our coach. Her home always had modern music pumping out of it thanks to her older sisters, and I enjoyed the new sounds. Al the wonderful tributes here, and at her memorial service, really highlight what a vibrant outgoing person she was. Rest in peace Tina. I will always hold closely those bonds of friendship forged 57 years ago.

So sorry to here of Tina's passing.Lucky enough to have spent the afternoon with Tina and Kev in June last year. A few drinks and plenty of laughs reminiscing of times gone by. You will be sadly missed by all us Tina.
