Betsy MCKENNA Obituary
Peacefully at the Croft Rest Home, Timaru, on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Maurice and Eileen McKenna and loving sister of the late Barry. Very special member of the Eddington and McKenna families and much loved by her many cousins. A Funeral Mass for Betsy will be held at St Thomas Catholic Church, corner Wai-iti and Mountainview Roads, on Thursday, December 10, at 11.30am, thereafter interment at the Temuka Cemetery. Please, no flowers by request. Our special thanks to the wonderful staff at The Croft who have looked after Betsy over the last year.
Remembered always. RIP

So sorry to hear the sad news of Betsy.
She was our McKenna family 'information centre' who always kept us updated with family news from Timaru.
Treasured memories of the Mckenna Family Reunion also.

Sad to hear of the passing of Betsy. We have fond memories of Betsy in Timaru especially when she organized the excellent McKenna family reunion. She was always welcoming whenever we visited her in Timaru, We will always miss her.

To Betsy's family - I worked with Betsy many moons ago at The Beaths Department store . I thought of her as a very beautiful lady and she was always in for a good chat when we crossed paths in the supermarket over the years .

To Betsy's Family - sad to read of Betsy's passing.
I have known Betsy for all my 71 years, she was always happy & good-natured. Her little shop opposite The Arcade was full of treasures - an expression of her love of travel & beautiful 'things'.

McKENNA, Betsy Janice:
Passed away peacefully in her 88th year, at The Croft, Timaru, on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Much loved cousin of the late Brian, and Jan, and John Eddington of Temuka. Adored Aunty Betsy of Steph and Carl, Kerrylea and Mokai, Carmelle and Jez and their children Cam, Alex, James, Roxy and Joseph.
