Aww Bronwyn and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your lovely mum. It was lovely to have her as one of my clients, I enjoyed conversation with Bernice and her wisdom and sense of independence. Also I admired her sense of family far and wide and how she would go visiting and drive herself down to Timaru and other places. Bernice was a very special lady, and I am sure will be missed by many.
It was a pleasure to see her.
Kind regards
Candy Sutherland

We used to be neighbours in Torquay Place. I have talked of your mum over time as the neighbour who introduced me to wine biscuits with cheese on top. Loved it I lived with my Mum & Dad and sister Annette on the street front. I remember you lived down the drive and I babysat sometimes. Love to you all, I was Carolyn Thirkell

Such a brilliant lady and much loved auntie, it was always nice to catch up more regularly in the last twenty years. Always a sympathetic listening ear too through our father and her baby brother Phil's declining health in his last few years. Always remembered our birthday s too. She will be very missed but remembered with lots of happy memories, as will Bob. Much love and thinking of you all, Alec and Di.

To Robyn, Bronwyn, Kim and Lynley et al, my thoughts and love.
Bernice, you were so much a part of our lives, a force that we learned to love and respect, (once we realised you weren't scary at all!). I will miss our regular chats and catch ups. Say hi to Bob for me.
