Very sorry to hear of Basil´s passing. I am sorry I are not able to get down today for the memorial service.

Sending Basils family sympathy and remembering him as one of natures gentleman- a good guy.

We are very saddened at the passing of Basil and would like to send our condolences to the Drummond family.

For 28 years Basil was a wonderful leasee who kept our family farm in tip top condition and treated it like it was his own farm. We all enjoyed our chats with Basil over the years and he always had an opinion on the topics of the day.

He was also a great friend and support to our Mum, Jenny, over the years and gave her a sense of security that made her feel more comfortable living at the farm on her own in her later years.

It is a shame he didn´t have more time to enjoy his retirement.
