Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Christchurch. Died peacefully at Nurse
Maude Hospice, Christchurch,
on Saturday, February 13, 2016, aged 74 years.
Requiescat in Pace
The Bishop will be with the Carmelite Community, 52 Halswell Road, Hoon Hay, until 12 noon today. At 1.00pm today, Wednesday, he will arrive at the Te Rangimarie Centre, 360 Gloucester Street, Linwood. This evening at 7.30pm the Bishop will arrive at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, where he will lie in state. The Church will close at 9.00pm. Bishop Barry will lie in state at St Marys Pro-Cathedral until his Vigil Mass, Tomorrow (Thursday) at 7.00pm. The Church will close at 9.00pm. The Requiem Mass for Bishop Barry will be celebrated at St Marys Pro-Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, on Friday, February 19, at 1.00pm, followed by burial at the Bromley Cemetery, corner of Linwood Avenue and
Keighleys Road, Christchurch.

I am so sad that I will never see you again e Pa; your wairua will always remain with those of us whom you touched. I will always remember you e Pa; we often had our little laughs together when we met for Runanga hui.
