Sending deepest sympathy to Barry´s family. Barry was very involved for decades in South Canterbury Soccer as a player, coach, writing game reports, referee, field marker, tournament organiser, draw organiser, fundraiser and committee member. Barry was a treasured South Canterbury Soccer identity. Expressing gratitude, thanks and deepest respect for Barry giving his time, knowledge, guidance and enthusiasm to so many. Love and hugs xoxo Lyndsay Clarke

I am so sorry to hear of Barrys passing. I have lots of memories of Barry coaching TGHS football during the years I was Sports Cordinator there. He was a wonderful coach and only ever wanted the best for the team. He was a great supporter of TGHS football.

Im so sorry to hear of Barrys passing. He was a lovely man and an incredible football coach, I learned so much from him over the years. Definitely not an easy feat coaching high school girls but he was a top bloke and we had so much respect for him. Rest in Peace Barry, you will be greatly missed.
