Passed away peacefully with family at her side, In the care of the fabulous staff at Highfield Lifecare. Treasured wife of the late Ron, deeply loved mother of Graham (dec), Judy and Martin Cooper, Lynda and Mike Collins, Pete and Nancy Harris, and Kate and Steve Guard. Special Nan of her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. As per her wishes a private service will be held. Messages to the Harris family, C/- PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.

Yesterday
On behalf of the Waimate Creative Fibre members, I would like to give our sincere condolences to Barbara's family on her passing.
Barbara was a lovely, hardworking, Mother, Friend of many and a wife and supporter of Ron on their farm.
Barbara was a very valued member for over 30 years of the then Waimate Spinners & Weavers until she and Ron moved to Timaru. Barbara was a 'crafty' lady and ably taught quite a few Waimate people how to Weave and Spin including myself, which I am truly grateful for. Rest in Peace Barbara.
