Athol MUNRO Obituary
Born Timaru, March 10, 1939. Son of Donald Ralph Munro (Reg. No. 485214, 6th Canterbury Regiment) late of Pareora, and Mona Margaret Munro (née Cotterell) born Fairlie. Athol passed away at home in Howick, Auckland, on April 18, 2023, aged 84 years. He is survived by Glenn of Napier, Guy of Maramarua, and Meredith of Napier. Grandfather to Adam, Logan, Mia, Laura, Haley and Kyle. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 6 Beatrice Road, Remuera, Auckland, on Saturday, April 29 at 11.00am. Rosary at the above Church on Friday, April 28 at 7.30pm.
