JOHNSON, Arthur Herbert:
9.12.1921 - 18.08.2022
Peacefully on August 18, 2022 at Lister Home, Waimate. He made it back where he wanted to be. Age 100 years 8 months. Dearly loved husband of the late Doreen, loved father and respected father-in-law of Graeme, Laraine and Allan Georgeson, Heather and the late Chip Dunckley, and Keith Johnston. A much loved grandad of Robin, Lee and Jane, and Anya; Sarah and Andrew, Rachel and Andrew. Loved great-grandad and great-great-grandad. Respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Arthur will always be remembered as a fantastic trumpet player right up to his death, his sense of humour and jokes.
A life filled with love,
laughter and music.
So dearly loved and will
be sadly missed.
