Arthur Henry Charles:
Passed this week at Radius Elloughton Gardens, Timaru, after a long battle with Parkinsons disease; aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret Rosemary Bates. Dearly loved father of Nigel and Graham Bates. Dearly loved brother-in-law of Elaine Goodfellow and Allan Bush. A service to celebrate Arthur's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1.00pm. Very sorry to hear of Arthur passing . I served my apprenticeship under Arthur many years ago . A great man and a legend in the local boat building industry. My condolences to his boys and families.

My deepest condolences to all family. I´m so sorry to hear of Arthur´s passing . We used to have some great conversations especially about his hobbies. Lots of ((hugs)) to you Abbey and Esmae, it´s never easy losing a grandparent. RIP Arthur
