LEWIS,Anthony George (Tony): MNZM
(Life member and vice-patron of Woolston Brass, member of River City Jazzmen, and the Garden City Big band). On August 18, 2022 at Nurse Maude Hospital, after a long illness, bravely borne, aged 79 years. Loved husband of Abigail, and loved father and father-in-law of Grant and Jennie, Ngaio and Ashton, and Maia, and loved grandfather of Lewis, Bella, Elijah, Zach, and Lucy. Loved stepfather of Andrew, Mathew, and Penelope and Patrik, and loved step-grandfather of Laura, Larisa, and Isabel; Liam and Zachary, and a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

Sorry to hear about the loss.I was a member of "The Moonlighter" with Tony,a TBHS Dance band,and also in other Timaru Brass bands in the late 50's.But,I am not ble to attend on Saturday.W

Love to the family,I had the pleasure of nursing Tony for a short time in his journey. Family is so important at this time,Tony was an amazing bandsman and gentleman. The Christensen family send our love to you all. That brass band up in the heavens is becoming a classic.
