I remember the only time I met Annie. Don´t remember the year but May McCoulloch (Gaffaney) took me to meet Annie at her house in Timaru. I remember the lovely leather handbags she made. And yes we had a cup of tea.
Condolences to all the family
May she rest in peace

My memories of you are your love of colour, we painted your house in Timaru before you sold it in the 90's and it was glorious! Your love of tea and the odd glass of wine! Your craftsmanship on your leather bags. I first met you in Killarney in County Kerry in Ireland with your leather travel bags when you stayed at the hostel called the Sugan Kitchen. We met later at Judah but haven't seen you for a number of years, I miss your advice and counsel.

Dear Annie,
I can´t recall how we first came to meet, did you place a ad for someone to help make the bags? Anyway however it was what a wonderful chance meeting like minded spirits working with leather in a wonderful setting, drinking tea! You even played the harp! However it was the spontaneous of a trip to Dunedin on Friday afternoon has etched a fond memory dancing the night away to the Pogues. Although we only had short intervals together I loved your zest and enthusiasm for life throughout. Rest in peace Annie, a pleasure to have known you.
