I struggle to find the words and cannot believe that today marks one month since your fight ended and you are at peace. Everyday, you are missed and I still expect you to walk through the door or wait for the text to have a coffee which I know will never come.
You are dearly missed by me and my family, including Susie....Nicholas continues to drive his little yellow car that you and Deb gave him. Laura is working hard at her studies and loves her challenge in Auckland...you would be so proud!
I cannot change the past but can move forward with the future and plan to make the most of every day as you have taught me that!
Hope you are enjoying your chats with dad and you are not and will not be forgotten.. you are with the Marriott family always.
Luv you bro

Although we all knew what Andrew was going through, his passing came as an unbelievable shock. We have lost a good dependable and sincere friend and will miss him for a long time. I know I always relied on him particularly when it came to any business information; his perspectives to the business were invaluable.
Debbie, I know it is a hard time for you and I am short of words to express myself other than that I pray for you to get enough courage to face this irreparable loss and wish Andrew's soul rest in peace.

Debbie,
I wanted to pass on my condolences to you. Andrew was a brilliant guy, a great leader and very well considered in his approach. I always enjoyed our interactions - both professional and personal and had nothing but complete respect for him.
I know his passing will create a huge hole in your life and I can't begin to imagine what that feels like, but I do know that it will improve with time.
Our thoughts are with you.

There is really nothing more to add, AB you were a total inspiration to me, on your visits to HDPS Timaru, work wasn't the first thing on your mind, but how's the caravan, where you been and what's the plan, you were like a kid in a toy shop when you towed down caravan number one, come see you said, but I'm working I replied, it can wait was your answer, so into all the boxes you ripped explaining what each part did and where it fitted, great I said, so how did it tow I asked, well I didn't have brakes as it's electric and my vehicles not set up for that, but travels great at 120km/h..... Oh dear lord was my reply better get back to work. Your visits south I will miss, and the pep talks regarding life in general, you have left such a gap.. But we will continue, Debbie we will do our utmost to make you both proud, in Gayles words you know where to find us, whenever you need us and that's in writing xox

Our hearts ache as we have to deal with life without you Andrew, you were not only the most amazing "Boss" anyone could have but you were also the most loyal, genuine, caring person anyone could meet. We know we have to stay strong to carry on your legacy here at HDPS. Thank-you so much for all the opportunities over the years AB, all the laughs we have shared and even some tears.. You and Debbie have become very close to me over the years, you will be greatly missed AB but never ever forgotten. xx
Debbie you have been an amazing person throughout this ordeal, you have so many people around you to help you to get through this terrible time. You know where we all are. xx

A life cut short but lived to the max so well. We grieve for the family times we will never share, but cherish those we did. The board games with Uncle Andrew and Aunty Debbie, the drive-in-movie at Wanaka, the priviledge of driving Andrew's beloved Chrysler V8 and the family Christmas times together. We enjoyed you sharing your holiday adventures and will miss catching up on your latest projects.
A special Uncle and Brother-in-law "never forgotten".
To my courageous sister - Andrew will always be by your side.
To Emma, you lost your Dad too soon but he will always guide you.
To Betty and family - a son, brother and uncle to be truly proud of.
To Dexter - look after your Mum and give her lots of cuddles.

On the 7th of August, I lost my boss. I owe him so much, he gave me opportunities I never thought I would get. I wish I had let him know how much I appreciated everything he has done for me. He always took the time to ask how we were and our families and took an interest in our hobbies etc. I had never met a person like him, he had such drive and foresight. I still expect him to come in and have a coffee and a laugh with us. Sadly this is not going to happen. Until we meet again.

Today i lost not only my boss of 10 years but a great friend. Andrew Bulman, he fought a battle that was short and intense and from day one he lined it up and faced it head on with all the fight that he could muster. He had 50 staff and he spent the time to know everyone of them and their families and their hobbies and interests. He was always there for advice on any problems and he drove the Hdps company standing at the steering wheel with his foot hard down on the throttle. He passed at home in the early hours with his loving wife Debbie Bulman beside him. He will remain with us always driving us on. I will miss his smiling face at 8am every day saying "what have you sold" you can rest now leader. Take care up there. Cheers slippery

Last Friday, I woke up to that phone call I'd be dreading and hoping would never come. Our boss had lost his battle to that horrible C word.

Andrew was a lot of things to me. My boss, my mentor, my rock, my inspiration, my second dad, my friend and someone I really looked up to. It doesn't seem real. He can't be gone.

I regret not taking the time to tell you how much you meant to me and how much I appreciate every bit of advice you ever gave me. I thought there would be more time. I thought there would be a miracle. The way you handled the last few months is inspiring, and it shows just how much of an amazing person you were. One of a kind. Life at HDPS will not be the same without you.

Andrew started from nothing and now employs over 50 staff. I remember lowering my 1st car in his workshop when I was only 17, not knowing that 8 years later I'd be working for him. At work we often called him world domination' because there was no doubt that's what he was capable of. He always had multiple projects on the go and certainly made the most of his 48 years.

Taken only 12 days ago, I will cherish this photo forever. On either side of me is the boss and his wife Debbie. Two of the nicest people you would ever meet, I am lucky to have had you guys in my life.

RIP AB, forever in our hearts xo
