TROON, Alison Merle
(nee Piercy):
Passed away peacefully at Strathallan Life Care on Monday, May 15, 2023; aged 93. Dearly loved wife of the late Alec. Much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Helen Wilton (Chch), Kenneth and Gabrielle (Queensland), Jeannette and Stewart (Wellington). Beloved Nan and SuperNan of her 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and newborn great-great-grandchild.

who knew her.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Alison's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10.00am. Hello Helen, Hayley, and Alison's entire family. I just spotted on Facebook that you lost your Mum on Monday. My thoughts and memories are with you all. I remember fondly "Salford Ave" days and meeting "Mrs. Troon", a gentle, genuine and strong woman, was my impression. Your loss over several generations will be keenly felt, and I send my huge hugs from Raumati Beach. XXX
