Alexander MURRAY Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the Hospice South Canterbury on Monday, July 3, 2023. An always loved husband of Anne and a devoted father and friend of Samuel and Jennifer, and Lauren. A cherished son, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend to many. "Forever our Rock" Messages to 62 York Street, Timaru 7910. A private cremation has been held.

Dear Anne, Sam, Lauren and family, sending deepest sympathy on your sad loss of Alex. I met Alex through Thistle Soccer Club, back in the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s we were a tight family club. Alex was a treasured member of Thistle Soccer Club, as was his Dad. Alex was always cheerful, friendly, considerate and willing to help - a great person gone to soon. Our Mum´s were dedicated Thistle Soccer supporters and later became neighbours. Treasure your memories. Love and hugs xoxo

It's always the good buggers. A permanent grin on your face. I'm surprised you opted for cremation, as knowing how much you enjoyed your Dad's taste in the finest of Scotch whisky, I'm not sure they'll be able to put the fire out :-)
