(of Waimate) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Lister Home, Waimate, with his daughter by his side. Loved father of Janine McKnight, James, Andrew, and Stuart. Loved father-in-law of Tyler McKnight, and treasured grandad of Dylan, and Dallas. Loved companion of Gwen Biovin, and dear friend to Jan and Gavin Cain, and many others. Janine, Tyler, Dylan, and Dallas would like to express their deepest appreciation to all the staff at Lister Home for the exceptional care Alan received during his time there. A Memorial Service celebrating Alan's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 11 John Street, Waimate, on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 2.00pm. It is with sadness l learn of Allan's passing last Sunday. I will always remember him in a kilt and dancing at the Scottish balls. He loved the dancing and of coarse his vintage cars,you have crossed the rainbow bridge Allan take care and until we all meet up again god sped Lesley Walker Timaru
