The Piercy family

Deepest sympathy from the Piercy family.
Uncle Alan's passing is sadly the end of an era. Geoff and Uncle Alan went back a long way. They met at scouts in Invercargill when they were 12. Uncle Alan was Dad's patrol leader. Dad reminisced that Alan was very methodological, the opposite of Dad, so he drove Alan to distraction, particularly when they were out camping. Ironically Dad went onto marry Uncle Alan's sister Nancy, a marriage that only ended when Mum passed away in January last year. Despite the rocky start at scouts, Uncle Alan welcomed Dad into the Naylor family and they went on to enjoy many many happy family occasions together.
It's been a tough three years with Auntie Betty and then four of the five siblings and a nephew, passing away since 2020, so thinking of you all at this time and sending love your way. xo
Karen Piercy on behalf of Geoff, Kerri de Ruyter, Robyn McLeod and families.
